Bye Bye Bachelorhood

Emily and I got engaged one stormy day on Monhegan Island, Maine in 2019. We’d planned on taking our time by targeting late 2020 or early 2021 for a wedding, but Covid consequently threw a monkey wrench into matters. So we indeed take our time.

Having had a year-and-a-half delay foisted upon us, we decided we couldn’t wait any longer. With the help of a few friends and my former band/tour mate Jordan (who — it turned out — has one of those justice of the peace certificates), we did a little something on our porch today, and I really couldn’t be any happier.
