Montopolis presents Enchanted Rock in Johnson City
Yesterday, I had the joyful experience of playing pedal steel and some 12-string guitar on a lovely new work by my friend Justin Sherburn (with whom I have worked for Mozart Requiem Undead and Trouble Puppet Theater). Enchanted Rock is a live film score which combines Justin’s synths, a chamber ensemble, my instruments, and Chickasaw Nation storyteller Amy Bluemel, the film and music bring alive the history of this sacred and stunning place.
Montopolis is an intimidatingly awesome ensemble, and I feel extremely privileged and honored to have been included in this project.
