Trail of Dead: New Album Coming Soon

…And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead has a kickass album coming out later this summer, but the previews have already begun to land. I had the pleasure in 2021 of contracting a small group of singers and directing them in the studio for five of the album’s songs. While I’d originally planned to stick with conducting, I also ended up singing when one of the singers fell ill. It was really fun getting to work with ToD once again (having also sung on their 2005 release, Worlds Apart), and under the excellent production eyes and ears of Charles Godfrey (whose studio credits include Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Swans, Prong, and many more) it came out sounding really great.

So say I anyway. But hey, so does Rolling Stone Magazine.
